Financial Analyst

    The National Empowerment Fund is looking for a Financial Analyst who will join the Free State Regional Office team. The purpose of this role is to provide support function to Regional Manager and Investment Associates on all areas of transaction execution.

    Minimum requirements

    Qualifications

    • B. Com: Business Finance / Accounting

    Experience/Skills Required

    • Minimum 1 – 2 years financial analysis or similar experience. 
    • Perform financial and commercial assessment and provide recommendation and comments to associates.
    • Financial Modelling tools
    • Project Management
    • Ms Office Suite i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word

    Investment Associate

    The National Empowerment Fund is looking for an Investment Associate who will join the uMnotho Fund team. The purpose of this role is to source and execute deals, support business development as well as maintain client relationships.

    Minimum requirements

    Qualifications

    • Graduate degree, preferably a BCom Accounting, CA, CFA or equivalent

    Experience/Skills required

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
    • Deal structuring
    • Project management
    • A generalist in area in corporate finance with some experience in private equity
